Ibiza Love Open Air 2026: Bringing the Ibiza Feeling to Regensburg

There are some events where the location is more than just a place to put a stage. Ibiza Love Open Air 2026 at Guggi Beach was one of them. What made the location particularly strong was the way the different elements came together naturally. There was plenty of space to dance, while the beach, the lake and the surrounding area created different places to relax and enjoy the day. Instead of having to create the entire atmosphere through elaborate stage production, Ibiza Love could make use of what Guggi Beach already has to offer. As the afternoon progressed, the atmosphere became more and more relaxed, and when the sun eventually started to disappear behind the horizon, the setting really showed its potential. There were chilled House beats, deeper and more atmospheric sounds, minimalist electronic grooves, Tech House and even some faster Techno moments. Nevertheless, House, Deep House and Tech House remained the dominant styles and fitted the location exceptionally well. The music felt made for an open-air environment: relaxed enough to enjoy the surroundings during the day, but energetic enough to keep the dancefloor moving as the event progressed. At the same time, Ibiza Love Open Air was not only about the music. One of the most noticeable aspects of the event was the crowd itself. A large number of visitors were already familiar faces from the electronic music scene around Regensburg, including people connected to Techno Regensburg and the Bunker in Regensburg. At the same time, there were plenty of regular festival visitors who simply came to enjoy a summer day at the lake. The result was a colorful mix of people with different backgrounds and different connections to electronic music. What they shared was the atmosphere of the event. The crowd felt open, friendly and peaceful, which is exactly what you want from an event built around the ideas of freedom, music and connection.

For Marc O'rell, the Ibiza Love Open Air was also a particularly memorable experience. Playing an outdoor DJ set directly at Guggi Beach created a very different atmosphere compared with a club environment. It was during one of these Studio Sessions that Marc O'rell and The V!NZ first met. The V!NZ is the organizer behind Ibiza Love Open Air and was involved with the event in an organizational role rather than performing as an artist. Marc O'rell and The V!NZ produced the track "Ik Kann Ned Pennen", which will be released on Mystery Freedom on September 25, 2026. It wasn't a collaboration that was created simply because two artists were looking for a name to put on a release. It developed from a real-life meeting and the environment created through the Studio Sessions. It is not a story about a label simply attaching its name to an event. It is a story about people meeting, creating music together and becoming part of the same growing network. A Mystery Freedom Studio Session led to a meeting between Marc O'rell and The V!NZ. That meeting led to "Ik Kann Ned Pennen", a new release on Mystery Freedom. And in August, the same creative connection was reflected in the atmosphere surrounding Ibiza Love Open Air at Guggi Beach.

The Ibiza feeling may be thousands of kilometers away, but on a summer evening at Guggi Beach, Regensburg came surprisingly close.
